There will only be a verbal race briefing only if required (safety issue, inclement weather or course update)
Briefing

Racers into the corral area 15 minutes before race

All racers must have bib numbers visable & noted by marshals before the race

In warm up direction of the race course must be followed. Skiing in the wrong direction can endanger other competitors/ lead to disqualification
Race Technique
All events are freestyle technique, with classic tracks provided for classic skiers. Please note the classic tracks will start slightly down a hill, and may end prior to a corner.
Ensure you know your ability, and remain in control at all times. It is courtesy to move from classic tracks if a downhill competitor is in them.

Course
The Race Jury reserves the right to change the course for skier safety or adverse weather conditions. Any changes will be posted on the website, email & socials
Please note our signage carefully. We try our best to mark the course so you all understand the signs. Note the laps that you do, to ensure you finish on the correct lap.
Course Marking
There are basic KM course markings out in the lead-up to the race. Please follow course directions at all times
We will use bunting and vee boards to mark any areas that could cause confusion. These will also be in the stadium.
Please respect the marked-off area, and do not climb ropes.
