Use the official registration page: https://eventplus.net/MM26 From 1 August 2026, race entry pricing is: 42km $170; 21km $110; U18 21km $80; 5km $80; U18 5km $50; Mini Merino free. Mini Merino competitors should still register online. International and visitor packages are also available and include race entry, the Welcome Dinner, race-week trail passes and the option of Saturday bus transport.

Ski the Kangaroo Hoppet in Australia and the Merino Muster in New Zealand in the same year to earn the Australasian Antipodes Award and receive two Worldloppet passport stamps. For 2026, the Kangaroo Hoppet is on 15 August and the Merino Muster is on 22 August. The Gold award is for the long-distance race and the Silver award is for the shorter-distance race. Complete five Antipodes Awards in any five years to become an Antipodes Master. Awards are presented at the Merino Muster prize giving.
